We´ve been BUSY!!
I´m sorry I haven´t been able to post the last 2 nights. We´ve been busy finishing up the last of all the projects that we wanted to accomplish here. I think it is safe to say that the Tres Amigos de Word of Life Church have left a positive impact on the House of Dreams orphanage. In some ways it feels like we´re leaving our home...and a big chunk out of our hearts! There is a new TV and DVD player, a new microwave, new windows (broken ones fixed), new railings for the stairs to keep the children safe, toys for the babies, developmental activities for the staff to do with the children and a whole list more! Not to mention Kim got to deep clean the dinning room and kitchen with Solintia (the cook).
When I´m in the airports I will post the happenings of the last couple of days. Keep us in your prayers as we fly...we leave Cochabamba at 10:05 pm our time which is an hour ahead of you folks at home. We get back to the KC area around 1 or 2ish tomorrow afternoon!
Thank you for all of your prayers...we´ve been healthy and VERY productive! We´ve felt your love and prayers while we were here!
I hate that this is my very last blog to write while in Cochabamba...I think it´s safe to say that I will be back...that is if it´s okay with my hubby!
Adios Amigos!!!

Have a safe flight! See you later!
Ya'll be home in no time! Rest up!
Wow! That's awesome that you all accomplished all of that.
Oh my goodness, I just caught up on your reading your blog and it was just very moving. I especially teared up at the thought of children being left in trash cans. I just can't fathom that. I wish I had piles of money, an enormous house, and the ability to take them all in. Of course, I would have to ask God for unlimited patience to deal with so many children, however, it just makes your heart ache.
What an amazing journey on the road with Christ you've been on! Thanks for sharing it--that way we can go along with you.
OK, as for Paper Mario, I'm ashamed to say that I've stayed up until 3:30 playing because I thought I was going to beat the game that night. Then I discovered that I was missing a critical part of the game and had to go back and remedy that the next day in order to try to beat the game again. I was successful at last. There are so many things to "find" in that game. I actually go online and looked up some cheat sites in order to figure out what I was missing. Noah and I do know quite a bit about the game now so if you do get stuck please feel free to call. We'd be happy to help out!! It was lots of fun but I"m Paper Mario'd out for awhile!
