  • Book Tagged!!

    Briansbabe94 has tagged me.  Here's what I have to do:

    1. Grab the nearest book to you,
    2. Open to page 123, look down to the 5th sentence,
    3. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog, (I posted a few more than that)
    4. Include the title and the author's name,
    5. Tag 3 people.

    So, here it is:

    I've got 2 books on my desk so I'll do both! 

    Book 1: Body Clutter by Martha Cilley (aka Flylady) and Leanne Ely (the Dinner Diva)

    Book 2: The Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard

    "Jesus then commented to his students on how hard it was for the rich to put themselves under the rule of God, to enter the kingdom.  Because of the common assumption that wealth meant God's favour, they were stunned.  In response to their amazement he went on to explain, 'How hard it is for those who trust wealth to enter the kingdom! A camel can pass through the eye of a needle easier than a rich man can enter the kingdom of God.' But this 'explanation' totally lost them.  The were 'astonished out of measure' and mutter to one another, 'Who then can be saved?' (v. 26)"

  • RYC: Thanks for your comments. You know what...I have made it a habit to pray for people who come to my thoughts. I believe that it's of God.
